Welcome!
Dragonfly:
drag·on·fly –noun, plural -flies.
1. Any of numerous stout-bodied, nonstinging insects of the order Odonata (suborder Anisoptera) It is said in some Native American beliefs that dragonflies are a symbol of renewal after a time of great hardship. In Japan dragonflies are symbols of courage, strength, and happiness.
2. Aerial acrobat specializing in daring feats of airborne artistry. This unique species can be found wrapped delicately in folds of fabric, or suspended precariously from a shining steel hoop.

Dragonfly aerialists are a Reno-based troupe of Aerial Silk and Aerial Hoop dancers. We teach and perform regularly in the Reno area, and travel occasionally for training and performances. We are able to rig our equipment to most weight-bearing structures from 8 feet to 30 feet. Our 18-foot tall freestanding rig is portable within the Reno-Tahoe area. Our unique and dynamic entertainment style can be tailored to your party, opening, or convention. Contact us for more information on our classes or booking us for your next event!

Current Events
Dragonfly Aerialists are currently offering classes in aerial silk and hoop for all ages Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-9:30pm. Email us at dragonflyaerials@gmail.com for more details!
